Assumption of authority

Chief Master Sgt. Gilbert Sanchez accepts an NCO sword Oct. 1, 2016, during an assumption of authority ceremony held at March Air Reserve Base, California, as he becomes Command Chief of the 163d Attack Wing. Sanchez joined the wing in 1998 after serving five years of active duty. During his career, Sanchez has worked in munitions and logistics.
