U.S. Air Force Airman Lauren Kanemoto, 163d Force Support Squadron, California Air National Guard, serves Staff Sgt. Elmer Medina, 163d FSS, a hot meal during the 163d Attack Wing’s combat readiness inspection, exercise Grizzly Talon, at March Air Reserve Base, Calif., March 17, 2026. Airmen from the 163d FSS provided two hot meals a day to more than 100 participants during the six-day exercise, which sustained operational readiness, strengthened the CRI participants’ ability to remain mission-ready in contingency-focused environments and mirrored real-world downrange operations.
