Exercise Grizzly Talon Flightline Repairs
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Joel Barriga instructs his fellow Airmen from the 163d Civil Engineer Squadron, California Air National, on flightline repair operations at the regional training site during the Wings combat readiness inspection exercise Grizzly Talon, March Air Reserve Base, Calif., March 19, 2026. Flightline repairs comprise some of the many mission essential tasks 163d CES Airmen must perform to keep infrastructure intact during deployment operations. An inspection is the grindstone on which Airmen sharpen the skills necessary to perform critical functions in an array of scenarios. The feedback following the inspection will only further mitigate blind spots, increasing lethality and proficiency. (U.S. Air National Guard Photograph by Tech. Sgt. Austin Harvill)
