163d, Where Families Serve Together

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Jared Reeder, Staff Sgt. Andrew Reeder, Staff Sgt. Isaac Reeder and Tech. Sgt. Caleb Reeder, all assigned to the 163d Maintenance Group, California Air National Guard, stand beside an MQ-9 Reaper at March Air Reserve Base, Calif., June 6, 2026. The Reeder brothers are part of a family of 11 siblings, eight of whom have served in various branches of the military, dating back to 2006. Originally from Apple Valley and Riverside, Calif., the family also has longstanding ties to March Air Reserve Base through uncles and great-uncles who worked here. Caleb encouraged his brothers to join the Wing, citing its strong culture, sense of purpose, and employment opportunities. He consistently mentors his younger brothers, and drill weekends provide a chance for the family to reconnect despite living farther apart than they once did.
