Grizzly Gauntlet

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Arthur Bennett, 174th Maintenance Group, New York Air National Guard, loads an inert munition onto an MQ-9 Reaper during the annual Grizzly Gauntlet, March Air Reserve Base, Calif., July 30, 2026. Bennett was selected for the blended team comprised of members from the 163d, 119th, and 174th Wings to test joint force integration and identify variances in unit skills and training. Five units participated in the week Grizzly Gauntlet competition not only designed to test skills like proficiency, safety and teamwork but also to build relationships within the MQ-9 Reaper community to help each unit seamlessly integrate on current and future missions.
