Boreas prepares 163d Communications Flight for evolving cyber threats
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Julio Reyes, 163d Communications Flight, California Air National Guard, works with his team of cyberspace defenders during the Boreas training exercise to root out an anomaly compromising network security, March Air Reserve Base, Calif., August 2, 2026. Reyes assisted in identifying remote codes executed in the network. Identifying anomalies such as this is fundamental to ensuring network safety and reducing the risk of loss of critical information.
